Municipal Court Art Contest: Entry deadline April 14

The contest is open to all students in grades 1-12 living in the Federal Way School District. Winning entries will be displayed at the Federal Way Municipal Court for one year starting in June.

The Federal Way Arts Commission is sponsoring an art contest in partnership with the Federal Way Municipal Court. The contest is open to all students in grades 1-12 living in the Federal Way School District. Winning entries will be displayed at the Federal Way Municipal Court for one year starting in June.

All entries must be based on the theme “Liberty And Justice For All.” Awards will be provided by the judges. First place award is $100, with one first place award winner each for elementary, middle and high school entries. Second place award is $50, with the same number of winners as the first place award.

Entry deadline is April 14. Paper size must be no more than 12 x 17.5 inches. Two entries per student will be accepted. Artwork must be suitable for framing. Material must be your original work and signed in the lower right corner. Entries must be returned with an entry form signed by a parent/guardian.
