Meet Yoda | Pet of the Week
Published 8:00 am Monday, May 23, 2016
Yoda is a 13-year-old male cat, domestic short hair, Seal Point (ID #A079982).
Shy at first, Yoda warms up quickly after some love and gentle pets. It won’t be long before he’s lounging in his favorite hangout: your lap! Calm by nature with a quiet purr, Yoda loves gentle head and ear scratches. He also likes to be held and is very alert and curious about his surroundings as you slowly walk around with him.
Yoda has previously lived with one other cat and two dogs. He does have some kidney/renal issues, and he just finished treatment for a urinary tract infection. His kidney issues may require specialized care in the future; shelter staff will be happy to answer any questions when you come for a visit.
Yoda is litter-box trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His $30 adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at the veterinarian of your choice, as well as 30 days of pet insurance with Trupanion.
You can find out more about Yoda on his PetFinder profile (www.petfinder.com/petdetail/35141167). You can also meet Yoda and other animals available for adoption seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center (21615 64th Ave. S., Kent) on Mondays from 3-6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from noon-6 p.m.,and Saturdays and Sundays from noon-5 p.m.
