Dec. 13

There were at least 2 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 1 vehicle was recovered.

Bouncer assaulted: Officers responded to a reported fight outside of a nightclub around 1:28 a.m. The bouncer shared that he was verbally harassed and assaulted and defended himself physically. The club is located near the 29100 block of Pacific Highway South.

Nonresidential burglary: At approximately 3 a.m. a business in the Commons Mall reported that they were burglarized.

Drug possession: Officers made at least four drug possession stops on this day.

Dec. 14

There were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 1 vehicle was recovered.

Employees threatened with axe: A man threatened employees by brandishing and waving an axe during a dispute at approximately 4 p.m. The incident occurred near the 2200 block of South Star Lake Road. The individual left the area before police arrived and was not located.

Dec. 15

There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 1 vehicle was recovered.

Double DUI: Two drivers were arrested for driving under the influence around midnight after getting into a collision. The collision occurred near the 1200 block of South 320th Street.

Residential burglary: Suspects broke a glass door to enter a residential house around 6:40 a.m. near the 30200 block of 17th Avenue Southwest. They came across a house sitter who called 911, and they fled prior to police arrival.

Assault with firearm: Around 10 a.m., a man pulled out a firearm and threaten to kill another man. The incident occurred near the 30700 block of 18th Place South and no other details were included.

Food theft: A repeat shoplifter who has trespassed before was stopped as he filled a backpack with food inside a store around 10:40 a.m. in the Commons Mall.

Heavy machinery stolen: An ATV forklift was stolen overnight near the 800 block of Southwest 341st Street. Police were able to ping the vehicle, but were unable to locate it.

Dec. 16

There were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 2 vehicles were recovered.

Theft: At approximately 7 p.m., a man entered a store located near the 28800 block of Military Road South and stole the cash register. He ran off on foot.

Dec. 17

There were at least 7 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 1 vehicle was recovered.

Juvenile obstructing justice: Officers were engaged in a priority call for service around 3 a.m. when a juvenile approached them. The juvenile interfered with officers and continually disobeyed commands, hindering and obstructing duties. The juvenile was arrested for obstruction.

Simple assault: Officers took a report for an assault that occurred around 8:30 p.m. between two juvenile females in a convenience store near the 32000 block of Military Road South.

Gun threat at Commons Mall: Officers responded to threats with a gun around 2:45 p.m. at the Commons Mall. The suspect was located and detained, and ultimately arrested and booked.

Dec. 18

There were at least 7 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 5 vehicles were recovered.

Gun and vehicle stolen: A car was left running unlocked outside of a location when the owner went inside briefly to pick up something. The car was stolen and contained a semi-automatic pistol with an unknown serial number inside. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. near the 27800 block of Pacific Highway South.

Elderly male assaulted: Officers responded to an assault in progress around 11:15 a.m. near the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South. Upon arrival, officers determined it was a robbery and that the suspect had a felony warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

DUI arrest: A school resource officer noticed a vehicle driving slowly on the median on Enchanted Parkway South around 3:40 p.m. The officer first activated his lights and exited the vehicle, but the driver seemed unable to open a door or window or stop the vehicle. The officer then pulled his vehicle in front of the car, which then hit it, and entered the vehicle by shattering the window. The driver was then arrested for DUI.

Dec. 19

There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 4 vehicles were recovered.

Vehicle damaged: A vehicle’s front windshield was smashed and all four tires were slashed around 8 a.m. in their driveway near 34800 28th Place Southwest.
