Man stabbed while getting into Uber: At 12:23 a.m. in the 28000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers were dispatched to the hospital for a stabbing call. The victim stated he was getting into an Uber when three unknown male suspects approached him and began assaulting him and trying to take his bag. In the course of the assault, one of the assailants brandished a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he received medical care. Officers conducted an area sweep of the scene of the robbery, but did not find any collectible evidence or a possible suspect. The case is inactive pending further leads.
Employee arrested: At 1:52 a.m. on Pacific Highway South, there was a report of a dispute between a female and an employee outside of a gas station. Probable cause was developed to arrest the employee for weapons capable, fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.
Threats: An officer was dispatched to a phone report regarding verbal threats. The reporting party advised that a known male contacted his wife in person and told her he could “beat and kill her” if he wanted. The male also stated that he would take her son and leave the country. The reporting party advised the male that she had filed a protection order and that he should not contact her or her son again.
Burglary: At 11:16 a.m. in the 1200 block of South 336th Street, there was a report that officers were dispatched to the Kitts Corner Apartments for a residential burglary.
Fight in the wave pool: At 2:22 p.m. in the 36000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, there was a report from the involved juvenile that the involved female put her hands on him. The involved female stated that she was trying to get a group of disorderly juveniles away from her and her children by pushing them away. The involved female stated that she was kicked, splashed and spit on, so she pushed the juvenile away. No cameras record that section of the park. The third-party witness saw one of the juveniles spit at the involved female. A lifeguard stated the juveniles were being rude and disorderly with other patrons of the wave pool as well.
Person found dead: At 7:33 p.m. on Seventh Avenue Southwest, there was a report that a male subject was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
Odor reveals dead person: At 9:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of South 328th Street, there was a report from neighbors who called in an odor coming from an apartment. Entry was made, and the deceased was found inside. The King County Medical Examiner arrived and took custody of the body.
Assault with a firearm: At 10:28 p.m. on Eighth Avenue South, there was a report of an assault with a firearm.
Aug. 27
There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Assault with firearm: At 3:24 a.m., an assault with a firearm was reported, but no address was provided.
Person tampering with fiber optic cables: At 7:59 a.m. in the 3500 block of Southwest Dash Point Road, there was a report that an unknown male suspect cut wires supporting the fiber optic line along Southwest Dash Point Road. The main support cable was also cut. The suspect was driving an older black Subaru hatchback. The suspect fled when he saw the reporting party stop and photograph him. The reporting party works for South King Fire. He sent the police three photos he took of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle did not have a front plate. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Southwest Dash Point Road. The damage is estimated to be over $50,000.
Burglary: At 8:47 a.m. on Pacific Highway, there was a report that officers responded to a burglary. Multiple items were damaged and stolen.
Assault with a firearm: At 11:40 p.m. in the 300 block of Southwest Campus Drive, there was a report of an assault with a firearm.
Aug. 28
There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Assault with a firearm: At 7:56 a.m. in the 100 block of South 340th Street, officers responded to a possible shooting. Officers arrived and detained one male, who was later booked into jail. There were no injuries observed or reported.
Shoes stolen from mall: At 5:15 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Commons, there was a report that at Champs Sports, a man stole $126 shoes. Footage showed the suspect to be a Black male, about 5’10”, thin build, tan hat, white shirt and black pants. After gathering information, leads were exhausted.

Hot coffee: At 9:34 a.m. in the 33000 block of 13th Place South, there was a report that a female victim advised she had hot coffee thrown on her by a known male. The male was gone from the location when police arrived.
Aug. 30
There were two vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Drinking wine in a parking lot: At 9:06 a.m. in the 1400 block of South 324th Street, there was a report of a suspicious vehicle. The reporting party stated that the male would park at the location, never leave his vehicle and make the employees nervous. When the officer contacted the male, he observed an open wine bottle and smelled the odor of alcohol. From the investigation, the officer found that the man buys wine at the nearby store daily, and sits in his vehicle and drinks wine. No signs of impairment from the male. The male was cited for the open container.

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Nightclub assault: At 12:12 a.m. in the 2000 block of South 320th Street, there was a report that dispatch was advised of an assault in front of a nightclub. Officers arrived on the scene and interviewed both parties. Based on both accounts, it appears the security guard was acting in self-defense.
Man hit in the head with baseball bat: At 6:39 p.m. in the 31000 block of Southwest Dash Point Road, there was a report of a fight at Lakota Park. It was reported that a victim had been hit in the head with a baseball bat. The victim would later be transported to Harborview Medical Center, but did not wish to assist with prosecution.
Sept. 1
There were three vehicle thefts reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.
Threat with firearm arrest: At 4:55 p.m. in the 32000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a threat with a firearm involving a group of juveniles. Several people were detained, but one person was identified as the primary suspect. He was arrested and booked without incident.
Sept. 2
There were two vehicle thefts reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.
Shooting: At 8:55 a.m. on 13th Avenue South, officers responded to a shooting call. One victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center, and one suspect was arrested on the scene.
Burglary: At 6:21 p.m. in the 22000 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, there was a report of a nonresidential burglary.
