Man runs with pants down at Walmart | Federal Way crime blotter

Police observed a man running through the parking lot with his pants around his ankles, while a woman in a van drove alongside him, urging him to get back in the van.

• Man runs with pants down through Walmart parking lot: At 10:50 a.m. March 31 in the 34000 block of 16th Avenue South, police responded to reports of a man running naked through the Walmart parking lot. According to the report, police observed a man running through the parking lot with his pants around his ankles, while a woman in a van drove alongside him, urging him to get back in the van. The report notes that police caught up to the duo later, and that the man’s antics were precipitated by an argument with the woman.

• Hit-and-run driver brought to justice: At 1:38 a.m. March 31 in the 37000 block of Pacific Highway South, a person reported their vehicle was the victim of a hit and run. The victim reported seeing the vehicle continue to proceed southbound on Pacific Highway. According to the report, the suspect’s vehicle was later located in a ditch in Milton. The suspect was identified and arrested.

• Tool thief: At 10:08 a.m. March 31 in the 33000 block of 33rd Place SW, a man reported that $600 worth of tools had been stolen. According to the report, the man is working on his mother’s old house, in preparation of making it a rental property. The unknown suspect made entry by breaking a window.

• Storage unit broken into: At 10:42 a.m. March 31 in the 32000 block of Pacific Highway South, a man reported his storage unit had been broken into. According to the report, NASCAR figurines, a bed frame and money were stolen, totaling $2,500.

• Unsuccessful bank robber: At 12:33 p.m. March 31 in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, a man walked into a bank, walked up to the teller and stated “I’m going to rob you.” The man implied that he was armed, although no firearm was observed. The report notes the man left without obtaining any money, and was unable to be located.

• Daughter takes swing at father: At 12:09 a.m. April 1 in the 1000 block of South 315th Street, police responded to a domestic violence call. According to the report, a father and daughter had gotten into an argument, with the father conceding that at one point, his daughter took a swing at him, but missed.

• Vehicle prowler steals stuffed animals: At 8:07 a.m. April 1 in the 1800 block of South 336th Street, a woman reported that her vehicle had been broken into, and three stuffed animals were stolen from it. The report notes that the investigating officer noticed another vehicle had been broken into nearby, with documents being taken from that vehicle. There were no usable prints from either vehicle.

• Ex-husband makes frightening comments: At 9:37 a.m. April 1 in the 34000 block of 13th Court SW, a woman reported her ex-husband had been making threats to shoot her, their children, and an acquaintance of hers. The report notes the ex had attempted to locate the acquaintance, and that police believed he was armed with a gun.

• Child drugged and molested: At 7:28 p.m. April 1 at an undisclosed location, it was reported that a man who was watching several children drugged and molested one of them.
