Man points a rifle at police officers after a hang-up call

• At 4:11 p.m. July 27 at 28504 20th Ave. S., police responded to a hang-up call. When they arrived, a man came out of the residence and pointed a rifle at officers.

• At 12:09 a.m. July 28 at 1813 S.W. 331st Place, a man found an abandoned wheelchair on the sidewalk. Police picked it up and booked it into evidence for safekeeping.

• At 11:10 a.m. July 28 at 31430 Pacific Highway S., a suspect attempted to steal two batteries from an auto parts store. The suspect was riding a bicycle and when confronted by two store employees, left the premises without the bicycle or the batteries.

• At 11:57 p.m. July 28 at 33115 1st Place S.W., a victim of East Indian descent reported someone threw a rock through the victim’s window. A similar incident has occurred to another East Indian victim in the same area.

• At 12:25 p.m. July 27 at 33524 35th Ave. S.W., a man reported his .38-caliber revolver stolen from a residence. It was loaded with six rounds of ammunition and the man did not know the serial number or make of the firearm.

• On July 27, police issued a criminal citation to a man seen holding a sign and accepting cash near the roadway.

• At 2:25 p.m. July 27 at 800 S.W. 356th St., a man reported another man fired gunshots while attempting to burglarize the victim’s home. The victim’s vehicle was damaged. The suspect was not located.

• At 2:29 p.m. July 26 at 33325 8th Ave. S., an officer discovered gang graffiti on a public restroom door at the Federal Way police station.

• At 4:30 p.m. July 26 at 31653 Pacific Highway S., a man left his 4-year-old and 6-year-old sons unattended in a truck for approximately 40 minutes.

• At 8:07 p.m. July 25 at 706 S.W. 363rd Court, a person found a jacket and purse on the street by the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. Personal information was found in the purse. Police were unable to locate its owner. The driver’s license listed a Fox Island address.

• At 12:51 p.m. July 25 at 2001 S. Commons Drive, a victim reported a former co-worker got her into a projection booth, held her arms down and attempted to put a hand down her pants.

• At 3:09 p.m. July 25 at 33325 8th Ave. S., two suspects called a victim and threatened her because they believed the victim was a police informant. The suspects had just been arrested for drug related crimes.
