Man, 37, found with gunshot wound to the back in Federal Way McDonald’s parking lot

The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating after a man was found with a gunshot wound to the back last night in Federal Way, officials say.

Federal Way officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Days Inn motel, in the 34800 block of Pacific Highway S., just before midnight on April 2, according to FWPD Cmdr. Kurt Schwan.

Upon arrival, officers located the 37-year-old male victim in the parking lot of the McDonald’s across the street.

The victim, who was uncooperative with the officers, had sustained an apparent gunshot wound to his lower back.

He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Schwan added.

Detectives are assisting with the investigation, and there is no suspect information at this time.
