Man, 21, in critical condition after shooting near Federal Way apartments

Officers have not yet located any suspects.

A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting near a Federal Way apartment complex on Thursday night.

A about 7:10 p.m. Oct. 21, Federal Way officers responded to a shooting at the Uptown Square Apartments near the 1000 block of S. 320th Street, said Cmdr. Casey Jones of Federal Way Police.

When they arrived, officers found evidence of the shooting and learned a car with the 21-year-old injured man left the scene after the shooting. He was driven to the emergency clinic near Dash Point Road and Pacific Highway, Jones said.

Officers then responded to the clinic and found the man in critical condition with gunshot wounds, Jones said. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Officers processed the crime scene Thursday night, and are working to locate witnesses and identify potential suspects.
