The Federal Way Lions Club collaborated with both Federal Way libraries to celebrate Make Music Federal Way on Tuesday, June 21.
At the three host locations — Town Square Park and both Federal Way Libraries — several activities took place.
At Town Square park, activities included live music, a drill team’s performance, a raffle, an instrument petting zoo, and more.
The library on 320th street gave guests the opportunity to make their own musical instruments using everyday materials. The Gansango African Dance Company also performed with song and dance, encouraging audience participation.
At the library on 1st Way South, a beginners ukulele class was hosted along with a 3D design workshop that taught guests to design guitar picks, kazoos, and other music-related 3D objects.
