Commercial burglary: At 7:47 a.m., in the 34000 block of 16th Avenue South, there was a report of a commercial burglary at Round Table Pizza.
Facebook Marketplace scam: At 12:45 p.m., in the 35000 block of 6th Avenue Southwest, the reporting party stated that she paid $170 for an item on Zelle through Bank of America, but after she paid $170 for an item, the seller deleted their Facebook messenger account and failed to deliver the item. The reporting party could not provide any suspect information apart from a name associated with the Facebook account, but the person is reported as living in Atlanta, Georgia.
Feb. 20
There were two vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
A bullet came through the ceiling: At 1:08 a.m., in the 27000 block of 23rd Avenue South, officers responded to a non-injury shooting. Investigation revealed that a bullet came through the ceiling of the homeowner’s bedroom from an unknown direction.
Intoxicated at his court hearing: At 9:59 a.m., on the 33000 block of 8th Avenue South, an officer was requested to do a court remand for a judge. A man was severely intoxicated and asleep during his court hearing for driving while license suspended. When the officer arrived at the court, the man was sitting with his head down, resting on his arms. The officer then informed the man that he was being placed under arrest, and he subsequently was taken to a holding cell and then transported to SCORE jail.
Student suspicious of peer bringing gun to school: At 1:13 p.m., at a Federal Way middle school, a student reported to staff that he believed a student left campus and was going to return to the school with a firearm. After interviewing the staff and students, there was no evidence to substantiate his claims, and parents verified that the other students had returned home from school and were not leaving the house.
Robbery: At 9 p.m., in the 30000 block of 18th Avenue South, police responded to a report of a robbery. The victim’s keys and wallet were taken. No weapon was involved.
Feb. 21
There were four vehicle thefts, and three vehicles were recovered on this day.
Robbery at 7-Eleven: At 3:19 a.m., in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to an armed robbery at Seven Eleven. Two suspects fled southbound on foot before police arrival. A K9 track was conducted with negative results.
Stolen vehicle pulled over: At 5:30 a.m., officers responded to an occupied stolen vehicle. Once the vehicle was confirmed stolen, officers conducted a high-risk stop and took the driver into custody.
Man with a gun trying to enter store: At 10:29 p.m., in the 33000 block of 1st Way South, officers responded to a suspicious subject at the Seventy Six gas station. The reporting party was a gas station employee who reported that a male wearing a face mask, gloves and with a firearm in his pocket was knocking at the front door. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male who matched the description. The male was non-compliant at first and did not listen to the officer’s verbal commands. Eventually, he complied and was detained without incident. The male was found to have a driving under the-influence warrant and was placed under arrest.
Feb. 22
There were three vehicle thefts, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Wrong-way driver: At 1:45 a.m., in the 3100 block of Pacific Highway South, officers viewed a wrong-way driver and conducted a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.
Weapons violation: At 7:41 a.m., in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of an unwanted subject, and a weapons violation offense was found.
Truck and gun stolen: At 9:15 a.m., in the 31000 block of Gateway Center Boulevard, the reporting party’s truck was stolen, along with his handgun that was inside. The video showed that review of the video showed that two persons in high-visibility jackets stole the truck. The suspects had arrived in a white SUV, and one suspect fled in the stolen vehicle while the other man fled in the SUV.
Feb. 23
There were zero vehicle thefts, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Vehicle stuck in the mud stolen: At 10:36 a.m., in the 27000 block of 23rd Place South, officers responded to a vehicle stuck in the mud. The vehicle came back stolen. The occupant was arrested and also identified as the suspect in a theft from a vehicle nearby.
Man armed himself with a tire iron: At 1:59 p.m., in the 33000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a fight in progress with an involved person arming himself with a tire iron. Probable cause was established to arrest one involved for fourth-degree assault. The male was arrested and booked into SCORE jail without further incident.
Man confronts person stealing his truck: At 8:30 p.m., in the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, the victim and his family were leaving the Olive Garden restaurant when the victim realized that someone was in his truck. The victim ran to his truck to find an unknown male behind the wheel. The victim jumped into the bed of the truck while the suspect sped off recklessly. Eventually, the victim broke the back window and gained entry into the truck. During the subsequent scuffle, the suspect lost control of the truck and drove over a large rock, essentially high-centering it. The victim and family then held the suspect on the ground until the arrival of the police.
Threats with a weapon: At 10:09 p.m., in the 33000 block of 25th Place Southwest, officers were dispatched to a report of threats with a weapon. Upon arrival, probable cause was established for the display of a weapon by a resident at the location. Announcements were made, and a male exited the unit and was placed into handcuffs without issue.

There were zero vehicle thefts, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Fire extinguisher discharged: At 7:13 p.m., in the 33000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers were dispatched to malicious mischief when, at Pacific Halal Market, a masked man entered the building and sprayed a fire extinguisher into the business. No suspect was detained.
Feb. 25
There were three vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Advisement of school TikTok challenge: At 10:43 a.m., in the 35000 block of 16th Avenue South, while working as a school resource officer, he was advised by a Dean that a student informed him of a TikTok challenge that was supposed to occur on Feb. 26, 2025. The officer found the challenge is also posted on Instagram, with a wide number of posters with no present victims or suspects located at the school that they’re aware of. The challenge is “Slime yo hb day.” or shoot slash injure your homeboy slash friend day. Some of the posters post videos of the shooting, and some of the posters discuss extreme embarrassment and sodomizing others. The officer made the other SROs aware and wrote this report as this challenge could impact a feeling of safety at school or in the community.
