From May through September, Wild Waves Theme Park, the largest seasonal employer in the region, employs nearly 1,000 workers.

The business hosts an annual job fair in which thousands of locals apply to be a part of Wild Waves Theme Park, working in such positions as ride operators, lifeguards, food vendors, retail clerks and more. During the morning, hundreds of applicants were also interviewed for these positions.

New positions to be filled this year are costumed entertainment team members. People love working at Wild Waves Theme Park so much that an average of 40 percent of the park’s workforce returns year to year.

Wild Waves Theme Park is Washington’s largest amusement park, with 70-acres of family fun.

A bevy of “wet” and “dry” rides and attractions are featured, including the state’s largest wooden roller coaster, TimberHawk, a looped roller coaster, The Wild Thing, the relaxing Konga Lazy River and a 24,000-square-foot wave pool.
