June 11

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Car written on: At 2:20 a.m. in the 1700 block of S. 281st Place, there was a report from the victim who said that someone had vandalized her car by writing on it. The victim said that she believed it was an acquaintance of hers because some of that person’s belongings were near her car. No video of the incident. The case is inactive. Leads exhausted.

Teen turns himself in: At 2:45 a.m. in the 31000 block of 23rd Avenue S., a 14-year-old wanted to turn himself in for stealing cars, vandalism and having marijuana. The teen removed an empty container from his pocket, which had no marijuana in it. The teen also said he had illegal knives in his bag, but he did not have any. The teen did not have any warrants, and none of his statements could be verified. The teen then decided he no longer wanted to speak with officers, and he caught a bus back to Seattle.

12-year-old girl drives siblings to school: At 7:29 a.m. at a Federal Way school, a school resource officer was contacted by the Federal Way Public Schools head of security, who reported that a 12-year-old girl was consistently driving her younger siblings to a Federal Way elementary school in a red Dodge Caravan. The school resource officer was able to find video footage from the school to corroborate the report. The girl’s parents were advised of the law and told that if their daughter continues to drive, they will face criminal penalties.

Firearm found: At 11:08 a.m. in the 4900 block of SW 319th Lane, there was a report that a resident who had moved out of an apartment had left behind various items, including a firearm. The firearm was found to belong to the previous tenant, but it was discovered that he had a domestic violence assault on his record from May 2025, and he was ordered to surrender his firearm.

Residential burglary: At 11:23 p.m., in the 5200 block of SW Dash Point Road, there was a report of a residential burglary.

June 12

There was one vehicle theft reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

$5,000 stolen: At 9:55 p.m. in the 1700 block of S. 305th Place, there was a report from someone who said that he believed that, due to there being no signs of forced entry, his ex-roommate gained entry using a key and stole $5,000 in cash.

June 13

There was one vehicle theft reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Hit with a vehicle: At 2:23 a.m. in the 1700 block of SW Campus Drive, officers responded to an assault in progress. The caller stated that there was a male beating her and that a subject was then hit with a vehicle.

Juvenile female assaulted: At 11:15 a.m. in the 35000 block of 16th Ave. S., officers responded to a report of a physical altercation that occurred in a bathroom between the juvenile female victim and four other juvenile females. Minor injuries were suffered by the victim.

June 14

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Weapons violation: At 8:02 p.m. in the 2100 block SW 336th St., officers responded to a recent threat with a firearm. Probable cause for weapons capable was established.

June 15

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Man driving through transit center: At 4:48 a.m. in the 31000 block of 23rd Ave. S., a male was stopped for driving through the transit center, despite numerous signs indicating buses only. The driver was determined to be driving under the influence and was placed under arrest. His vehicle was impounded, and the male was eventually booked into SCORE jail.

Robbery: At 7:37 a.m. on South 356th Street, officers responded to a reported assault with a firearm. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim and established probable cause for first-degree robbery. The suspect was located nearby and detained. The suspect was positively identified by the victim. Suspect arrested and taken to King County Jail.

Human toe found in a box at beach: At 5 p.m. at Dash Point State Park, officers were dispatched for suspicious circumstances. A citizen combing the beach located a box with a human toe inside it. A park ranger then guarded the toe and waited for the police. Once officers arrived on scene, the ranger informed officers that the location was in Washington State Patrol jurisdiction, troopers were on the way and Federal Way Police Department officers were no longer needed. Officers observed the toe, which appeared to be a big toe with what appeared to be blue ink near where the toe appeared to have been removed from the rest of the foot. The toe was located in a wooden box that appeared to have herbs or other vegetation inside.

June 16

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Residential burglary: At 7:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of SW Campus Drive, there was a report of a residential burglary.

Man exposing himself: At 2:30 p.m. at the BPA trail, there was a report of a man exposing himself to people on the trail. Officers located a man fitting the description and were able to obtain the individual’s information. The victim who called in the incident did not successfully identify the detained man as the suspect in a photo lineup.

Controlled buy: At 6 p.m. in the 30000 block of 8th Ave. S., Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a controlled purchase of a suspected methamphetamine.

Victim holds down burglar: At 7:49 p.m. in the 27000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., officers responded to a residential burglary in progress. Officers arrived on the scene to find the resident holding down the suspect, waiting for police. Probable cause for residential burglary was established, and the suspect was booked into King County Jail.

June 17

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

High school student stealing: At 7:50 a.m. at a Federal Way high school, an officer was advised of a theft that was committed by a student from a Federal Way high school. The victim’s father came to the school and wishes to press charges against the student.
