Federal Way to host clutter clearing workshop

City officials will host a workshop for residents to learn how to to de-clutter their homes and simplify life at the Clutter Clearing workshop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 14.

City officials will host a workshop for residents to learn how to to de-clutter their homes and simplify life at the Clutter Clearing workshop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 14. The event will be held at Federal Way City Hall, located at 33325 Eighth Ave. S. in Federal Way.

People will learn techniques to lighten the emotional connections to stuff, tips for effective clutter clearing, resources of what to do with the clutter and ways to stop acquiring stuff.

This workshop is part of the monthly Green Living Workshop series. Workshops are held on the second Wednesday of each month (except November which is postponed one day due to holiday), from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Federal Way City Hall.

Monthly topics include green cleaning, backyard chickens, organic vegetable gardening, food preservation, worm bin composting, rain barrels, fruit tree pruning and more. To register and for more information, visit the Green Living Workshop web page.
