An annual parade highlighted the opening of the Marine Hills pool for the summer swim season on Saturday.

The parade included the Thomas Jefferson High School pep band, Federal Way Police Department motorcycle guides, Mayor Jim Ferrell, Deputy Mayor Jeanne Burbidge and Council members Dini Duclos, Martin Moore and Susan Honda.

The Marine Hills Swim and Tennis Club is located at 600 S. 302nd St., Federal Way.
