Federal Way native Andru Pulu signed by Seahawks

Federal Way High School graduate Andru Pulu has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks.

With a simple tweet on Saturday, the Eastern Washington University Eagles Athletics program announced that Federal Way native Andru Pulu had been signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. Pulu is a defensive lineman and recored 43 tackles and 4.5 sacks last season with the Eagles.

Pulu is a graduate of Federal Way High School and had originally played college football at the University of Washington, until an off-field incident resulted in his expulsion from the team, prompting his transfer to Eastern. Pulu’s younger brother, Jordan, also signed to play with Eastern in 2012
