The Federal Way Mirror and Sound Publishing newspapers have unveiled a new online calendar for readers to post local events.

The new calendar is more user-friendly. The system does not require a username or password. Just submit the information online at http://www.federalwaymirror.com/calendar by clicking on “Add an Event.” Photos and maps can be posted with events.

The calendar system requires all events to be approved by the newspaper’s editor, who moderates the site and event list daily. Online calendar items may also appear in the print edition. To contact The Mirror and learn more, email editor@federalwaymirror.com.
