Thomas Jefferson High School senior Cayden Boardway, football, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Sept. 10.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: P.E.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Working out and playing video games.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “Play 110%.”

Q: Describe your pre-match ritual and your favorite post-match meal?

A: Pre – listen to music on the bus; post – pizza.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Pure Souls” by Kanye West.

From the sideline: Thomas Jefferson senior Cayden Boardway went 10/15 passing and 127 yards. He had one passing touchdown and two rushing touchdowns against Todd Beamer on Sept. 3.
