Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 5: Erin Bae

TJHS sophomore holds highest amount of varsity points on the swim team this season.

Thomas Jefferson High School sophomore Erin Bae, swimming, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 5.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: AP Statistics.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Cooking, baking, club swimming.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My mom and my coach.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “Don’t overthink! Just go!”

Q: Describe your pre-match ritual and your favorite post-match meal?

A: Pre: Listen to music and eat pasta the day before. Post-game meal: I will eat anything I see!

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Night changes” by One Direction.

From the sideline: TJHS sophomore Erin Bae has attended every meet. She has a total of 77 varsity points, which is the highest on the swim team. Erin also earned NPSL 3A 1st Team honors this season.
