The Federal Way Lions will host their Eighth Annual Helen Keller Basketball challenge featuring Federal Way police hitting the court against local fire fighters.

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on April 9 at the Federal Way Community Center (876 S 333rd St.). The event is free and open to the public, but donations are accepted.

Master Na of Master Na’s Martial Arts will be there, and the ROTC drill team will have a presentation. Federal Way Mayor Jim Ferrell will make opening introductions.

A raffle will be held, and barbecue will be available ($5 for a King Dog, chips and a drink).
