Federal Way flags will be flown at half-staff to honor COVID victims

In coordination with President Joe Biden’s order honoring the more than 500,000 Americans who have lost their lives to COVID-19, Federal Way Mayor Jim Ferrell ordered the flags at all city facilities to be flown at half-staff until sundown on Feb. 26, 2021.

“Federal Way, like communities worldwide has felt the devastating impacts caused by the global pandemic,” Ferrell said in a news release. “Locally, we have lost 92 of our neighbors to this terrible virus. Please join me in honoring the lives of those who left us all too soon.”
