Federal Way City Council to host annual retreat at Dumas Bay Centre

The Federal Way City Council will hold its annual council retreat from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Dumas Bay Centre, located at 3200 SW Dash Point Road in Federal Way.

The Federal Way City Council will hold its annual council retreat from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Dumas Bay Centre, located at 3200 SW Dash Point Road in Federal Way.

The meeting is open to the public and there will be opportunity for public comment.

This year’s retreat focuses on several key economic development topics, along with discussion about a potential senior commission, term limits and the 25th anniversary celebration of city incorporation.

A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and there will be a break for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with food available for the public.

• Town Center update/input

• Weyerhaeuser Property Sale Update

• Economic Development

• Senior Commission

• Term Limits

• City’s 25th Anniversary Celebration
