Audio equipment, computers and a Samsung TV were stolen from the Buddhist Learning Center in Federal Way on Saturday.
The burglar is suspected of entering the building, located at 28621 Pacific Highway S., through an unlocked second-level entrance that led to the parking lot. Once inside, the suspect “ransacked” three offices, according to the police report.
Documents were strewn about, and police discovered three computer towers missing. The entire sound system, along with a 42-inch TV, surveillance camera and DVR, was stolen from the main worship areas of the building.
Just prior to leaving, officers spoke with the property owner and learned a silver Nissan pickup truck was stolen from the carport on the back side of the building as well.
Because the only video surveillance for the building was stolen and police couldn’t collect any usable fingerprints or shoe tracks, no suspect information is available.
