The Family Green Fest returns for the fifth time, running 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13.

The event will be located at The Commons mall in the Sears parking area (1701 S. Commons) and will be held in conjunction with the Federal Way Farmers Market.

In addition to the spectacles of the Farmers Market, 20 eco-friendly booths will feature information for attendees, as well as alternative energy demos, discounted LED light bulbs, document-shredding and electric vehicles — among other things to see and do.
