Dentist’s license revoked over sexual allegations

Ashok Lalli, a dentist with offices in Tacoma and Federal Way, agreed to permanently surrender his license to practice.

From staff reports:

Ashok Lalli, a dentist with offices in Tacoma and Federal Way, agreed to permanently surrender his license to practice, according to the Washington State Department of Health (DOH).

According to the DOH, Lalli provided dental services to one of his assistants between August 2008 and July 2010. Along with the dental service, the DOH asserts that Lalli engaged in sexual misconduct with the same patient, including “groping her breasts and groin area, penetrating her with his fingers, and forcing her to massage his penis.”

Lalli was the subject of a 2008 discipline order after he kissed one patient and touched another patient’s chest and breast area, according to the department.

The Federal Way location is at 26228 Pacific Highway S. The DOH notes that Lalli had not been practicing since he was suspended in July 2011.
