CycleLung coming to Wednesday Federal Way farmers market

The American Lung Association is bringing its interactive bike art CycleLung to today's Wednesday farmers market to raise awareness of lung health and clean air, in light of the upcoming Ride Around the Sound.

The American Lung Association is bringing its interactive bike art CycleLung to today’s Wednesday farmers market to raise awareness of lung health and clean air, in light of the upcoming Ride Around the Sound.

Participants can pedal the CycleLung bike, which will power lights inside a torso fabricated out of bike parts and illuminate a lung replica. Participants will also receive 20 percent off Ride Around the Sound registration. Early registration fees are $35.

Ride Around the Sound will be Sept. 13 and features a 38, 73 and 92 mile route.

CycleLung will be at the Wednesday farmers market from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 30 at Town Square Park, located at 31600 20th Ave., Federal Way.
