April 10

Five vehicles were stolen, and two stolen vehicles were recovered on this day.

Gunpoint: At about noon, a lady was robbed at gunpoint after she picked up a man asking for a ride to a gas station. After holding the woman at gunpoint, the suspect had her drive to an ATM to withdraw money from the victim’s bank account.

Skimmers: At about 6:40 p.m. at the Bank of America on Pacific Highway, an ATM technician said he found two skimmers at the drive-through ATMs. Officers took the skimmers as evidence. It is unknown how long the skimmers were on the ATMs.

Cash register: At about 10 p.m., a man stole from a cash register at Jimmy John’s. The man asked the cashier for change, and when the cash register opened, the man reached inside and took $40 in five-dollar bills. The reporting party said the man did not assault or threaten her in any way.

April 11

Two vehicles were stolen, and one stolen vehicle was recovered on this day.

Shot at: At about 5:40 a.m., someone was shot at with a firearm in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The victim said he was not hit. Officers at the scene said they located about a dozen 9 mm shell casings in the parking lot where the incident took place. The victim said he could not identify any perpetrators because they wore masks and gloves. Upon inspecting the surrounding area, officers found no damage to any nearby cars or buildings.

Panther Lake Trail: At about 3:45 p.m., a couple was walking on Panther Lake Trail and was robbed at knifepoint. Neither victim was injured, but a gold necklace was stolen.

Discharge: At about 7:45 p.m., officers responded to a call about an accidental discharge of a firearm. The perpetrator said it was an accident. No one was harmed.

April 12

Three vehicles were stolen, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Middle school student: At about noon at Fred Meyer, a Saghalie Middle School student was robbed at knifepoint of his backpack by two people and was attacked before the suspects fled on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries. The victim said he recognized one of the suspects, but not the second.

Fight: At about 2:50 p.m., two male employees at a business inside the mall got into a fistfight after one male bumped the other. Both males suffered minor injuries.

April 13

Two vehicles were stolen, and none were recovered on this day.

Gunshot wound: At about 2:41 a.m., a man was found to have suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. The incident occurred in Kent. Subsequently, Kent Police took over the case.

April 14

Two vehicles were stolen, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Assault: At about 4:30 p.m., a male assaulted a father who was protecting his children from the male. The suspect was then booked into jail.

Large fight: At about 7:13 p.m., officers responded to a large fight where witnesses said they noticed an unknown male with a firearm. Four males were detained and then later released.

April 15

Three vehicles were stolen, and none were recovered on this day.

Gunshot: At about 1:44 p.m., a male was at St. Francis Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. The male did not speak with police officers.

April 16

Three vehicles were stolen, and one was recovered.
