Federal Way police and South King Fire and Rescue firefighters are teaming up in the name of charity.

Police and firefighters hope to “take over” Joeseppi’s Italian Ristorante from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at 2207 North Pearl St., Tacoma. Food proceeds will benefit the South King Firefighters Foundation and the Federal Way Police Department Officer Brian Walsh Memorial Fund. The more customers who order food between 4 and 8 p.m., the more money that is raised.

The restaurant’s phone number is (253) 761-5555 and its website is joeseppis.com.

The police and firefighters hold friendly competitions throughout the year to benefit charities. Other events include the annual Federal Way Farmers Market Chili Cook-off and the annual Lions Basketball Tournament.
