Local candidates have officially filed to run for positions including the mayor of Federal Way, three city council positions, two municipal court judge positions and two Federal Way School Board director positions.
Positions with more than two candidates will face off in the Aug. 5 primary election with the top two finishers moving on to the Nov. 4 general election.
The Federal Way Mirror will host a free public candidate forum in October 2025 (date and location TBA) to provide a chance for the community to hear from local candidates directly.
