Brooklake Church’s annual Big Ol’ Turkey Round Up

Brooklake Church hosted its fourth annual Big Ol’ Turkey Round Up on Nov. 13.

The Round Up is a one day, four-hour collection event with the intent to gather as many frozen turkeys as possible for distribution through the Federal Way Multi-Service Center Food Bank. Through the generous donations of Brooklake attenders, Family Life Community Church, South King County Fire & Rescue and others in the community, a total of 384 turkeys were donated this year with 188 frozen turkeys were dropped off in person. Monetary donations in the amount of $1,805.45 allowed for the purchase of the other 194 birds.

Brooklake Church thanks friends and partners, and particularly highlight the work the Multi-Service Center does to help care for individuals and families in our community.
