A man was shot Wednesday at the intersection of South 288th Street and Pacific Highway South in Federal Way, and police are searching for two suspects who reportedly fled the scene on foot.

The 30-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen around 4 p.m. and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. An “extensive area search is underway” for the suspects, who are described as two Hispanic or black males aged 16-20.
