April 23

There were two vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Laptop stolen: At 11:29 a.m. in the 2100 block of Southwest 352nd Street, there was a report from a victim who stated that he bought a $1,000 gaming laptop, but it was either stolen or never arrived. He said he was at home all day, and no one knocked at his door. No suspect info.

Robbery suspect arrested: At 2:43 p.m. in the 32000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of a robbery at gunpoint. Officers checked the area and located a male matching the description of the suspect. A handgun was located in the vicinity of where the male was located, and he was booked on a felony warrant.

April 24

There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Shot with BB gun: At 6:50 p.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, a male reported that he had been shot by what he thought was a BB gun while he was riding his bike. He said that a subject in a small dark blue coupe turned a corner, and he heard multiple popping noises and pain in his thigh and stomach area. Officers were unable to identify a license plate on surveillance footage.

April 25

There were two vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Robbery with a knife: At 12:17 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Commons, there was a report of a robbery with a knife. The suspect was gone upon arrival.

April 26

There were two vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Illegal discharge: At 1:46 a.m. in the 33000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of an illicit discharge. Upon investigation, officers found spent 9mm shell casings. No suspects identified.

Burglary: At 8:56 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Dash Point Road, there was a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated that there was a broken window and the door had been forced open. A laptop, a passport, a book and a few business documents were missing. No camera footage. Leads exhausted.

Slapped: At 5:39 p.m. in the 35000 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, there was a report from someone that they had been slapped. Officers reviewed footage and found that the reporting party, who had been slapped, had begun the altercation by shoving the person who slapped him. No charges.

Lost phone: At 3:42 p.m. in the 32000 block of 1st Avenue South, the reporting party stated that their mother’s phone was lost, and when it was called, a man picked it up and demanded money in order for it to be returned. The phone was then turned off and could not be located. Leads exhausted.

April 27

There was one vehicle theft reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Strong-arm robbery: At 9:24 a.m. in the 900 block of Southwest Campus Drive, there was a report of a strong-arm robbery on the street.

Car left on blocks: At 10:27 a.m. in the 18000 block of South 285th Place, there was a report from a victim that all four wheels and tires were stolen off their car and the car was left on blocks. The items were valued at $2,500.

Drugs in plain sight: At 5:28 p.m. in the 32000 block of 6th Avenue Southwest, there was a report of a female slumped over in her car while the car was running. Officers located the female with drug paraphernalia in plain sight. The female was arrested for being in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.

April 28

There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Windows shot: At 3:57 a.m. in the 33000 block of 1st Avenue Way South, there was a report that windows had been shot at a business. The reporting party stated that they had been doing work at a business when they realized that the windows appeared to have been shot at. Officers found bullet holes in the window.

Illicit discharge: At 1:47 p.m. in the 28000 block of 28th Place South, there was a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they found that a gun had been fired and several bullet fragments were found in the building.

April 29

There was one vehicle theft reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Carjacking suspect: At 7:31 a.m. in the 2500 block of South 320th Street, there was a report of a carjacking. Upon investigating, officers located the suspect and arrested the suspect.

Carjacking with a knife: At 10:08 a.m. in the 1600 block of South 310th Street, there was a report that two suspects had carjacked someone. The victim stated that two people had approached them with a knife, assaulted the victim and had stolen their car and money. The victim had visible injuries and was transported to St. Francis Hospital. Suspects remain at large.
