Many dog aficionados flocked to Celebration Park in Federal Way on Saturday for the seventh annual city-sponsored K-9 Karnival.

Attendees enjoyed a police dog demonstration, a photo booth, dog competitions, pet adoptions and more.

Medals and prizes were given to winners of the best costume, the best tricks in a minute, the best owner bark and — the crowd favorite — ice cream eating contest. Owners and dogs each had to clean their cups before racing to the finish line.
