30-For-30 volunteer options postponed this weekend in Federal Way

City litter pick-up and blueberry farm day postponed.

Several volunteer opportunities have been postponed this weekend due to the harmful air quality.

The City’s “Clean Up Federal Way!” litter pick-up event and the We Love Our City Serve Day at the Hylebos Blueberry Farm have been postponed. New dates have not yet been announced.

However, residents can still support your local firefighters at a drive-thru donation drop off event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 12, at Brooklake Church, 629 S. 356th St. Bring thank you cards, gift cards (restaurant, coffee stands, grocery stores). COVID-19 health guidelines will be followed at the event.
