Hundreds of Seattle Seahawks fans showed support for their team during a Blue Friday rally at Federal Way City Hall on Friday.

The Jet Cities Chorus, a local singing group made up of members from Thurston, Pierce, King and Kitsap counties, sang their “I’m a True 12th Man” song during the rally.

Member Melissa Martin penned her song “I’m a True 12th Man” during the Seahawks run to the Super Bowl, and it quickly became a favorite of local media and fans. The Jet Cities Chorus made an appearance on NBC’s “The Today Show” prior to the Federal Way rally.

Bands from all four high schools in Federal Way also performed during the event. A 15×25 banner, which the city’s IT Department bought on their own initiative, was revealed in front of City Hall.

The Seahawks will take on the Denver Broncos during the Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday.
