67 years + three generations later, this Federal Way jeweler celebrates with a truly spectacular first Christmas!

Winter Wonderland Sale from FWC Jewelers offers Amazing Prices and a fun Sleigh Bells Bling Contest.

Marking 67 years serving the Federal Way community, Federal Way Custom Jewelers welcomes its third-generation of talented, custom jewelry experts!

FWC Jewelers is the oldest family-run retail business in Federal Way, first opening its doors in 1955. They moved to their current location beside Trader Joe’s in 1994 and this past year, long-time owner Rene Criss retired and handed the reins to new co-owners, his son and longtime salesman Sean Criss and veteran store manager Brandon Jenkins Moak.

“We are so excited to continue Federal Way Custom Jewelers six-decade-long history of quality and exceptional service, while bringing in new inventory and services that represent our own unique passions and vision for the future,” says Brandon, owner and general manager.

Sean, a native of Northeast Tacoma, grew up watching his father working hard to build a family legacy of exquisite fine jewelry sales in an approachable and comfortable environment. FWC Jewelers is well-known for its custom design work and expert repairs, with Sean and the seasoned staff at FWC Jewelers bringing decades of experience and skill with them as they strive to uphold the store’s reputation for exceptional care and experience.

Sean’s personal passions are in colored gemstone and diamond engagement rings, with his work celebrated for its flare, thoughtful design and long-lasting brilliance by couples from around the region. Sean and his sales partner, Donna, are the well-known welcoming faces of FWC Jewelers, they’re always happy to help clients with custom design projects big and small!

Brandon grew up in Federal Way and started at FWC Jewelers as a loyal client, buying and collecting the unusual colored gemstones the store has long been known for. Brandon has worked in a variety of roles at FWC Jewelers but returned after college to run this historic business as Rene prepared for retirement.

“I am excited to bring my love for rare, antique, and vintage jewelry to the store front and showcase these elegant, timeless pieces in our much-loved estate cases,” he says. “They’re filled with some truly breathtaking antique treasures and unusual pieces that make exceptional one-of-a-kind gifts and family heirlooms.”

As FWC Jewelers’ resident gemologist and jewelry historian, Brandon is always happy and eager to advise clients on collecting, insuring, restoring and selling antique and vintage jewelry pieces. He’s made it his personal mission to create jewelry that is unique, beautiful and of great value, while creating a business built on trust and community.
