Wild Waves seeks actors, artists for Fright Fest; auditions Saturday

Wild Waves Theme Park invites the local community to audition to be a part of the Fright Fest team for the region’s most ghoulish month-long event, beginning on Oct. 3.

Wild Waves Theme Park invites the local community to audition to be a part of the Fright Fest team for the region’s most ghoulish month-long event, beginning on Oct. 3.

Auditions will be held from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20.

Wild Waves Theme Park looks to fill several positions, including 100 ScareActors to frighten in two haunted houses, 10 Booville actors, and eight to 10 makeup artists who specialize in or have experience with airbrush, moulage, prosthetic applications, and special effects. No experience is necessary for actor positions.

During Fright Fest, Wild Waves Theme Park will transform into a scream park every weekend in October. Fright Fest will feature two haunted houses (Chamber of Souls and The Playground, a 3D haunted house), Booville — a scare-free zone for kids — and 25-plus amusement rides in the dark.
