Village Green to host spring art history class

Elizabeth Rodgers will present the third part of an art history series on the art of northern Europe. This class will focus on the art of countries north of the Mediterranean for the period 1850 to the present, including the Romantic Period, Impressionism, Expressionism, and Modern and Contemporary styles.

The first hour of each class will consist of a lecture with second hour showing slides covering what was discussed. Classes will meet in the meeting room off the Fairfield Building at the Village Green Retirement Campus. It costs $40 for residents and $55 for nonresidents for the seven class course on April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 9, 16. A museum trip is also included.
