Q Dot’s hip-hop video

Federal Way based musician Q Dot’s self-directed and edited music video “Supafresh” will be on national airwaves soon. Confirmations of airplay have come from two independent regional video shows, “Music Inner City” and “The Bobby T Show.” The two networks were also the first to play Q Dot’s first music video release in 2006-07, “Hotter Than a Furnace,” before college-oriented MTVU took interest in the fledging rap artist’s debut. The 26-year-old hip-hop artist is also the host of a new show on Seattle-based Internet radio station Juice Radio. The station, which has sponsored Q Dot’s latest run of performance dates, is based in Seattle. The show will air Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. and will feature new music and variety topics.
