Enchanté: Celebration of the Arts: The event Oct. 14 will begin with a festive reception at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center (PAEC), featuring a variety of hors d’oeuvres, hosted soft drinks, wine, beer and Prosecco bar, informal music and opportunities to donate to the Arts Foundation Federal Way, followed by the performance of smash hit, “Forbidden Broadway: The Second Generation,” in the PAEC theater at 8 p.m.

Phenomenal She Presents: An Evening of Elegance: On Oct. 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. featuring Keynote Speaker K.D Hall at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club, located at 3583 SW 320th Street.

Cross Revolution 2023 Race #3: Oct. 15 bicycle races at Celebration Park located at 1095 S. 324th Street.

Hot off the presses: The Federal Way Mirror invites you to join the paper from 1-2:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at Poverty Bay Café for informal conversation and coffee. You’ll be able to ask the newspaper staff about their work or talk about issues affecting the region, such as homelessness, addiction and development, all while supporting a local business and the work of nonprofit FUSION to serve families in need. Tricks N’ Treats Funfest: Event runs 3 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Federal Way Community Center, 876 S. 333rd Street, Federal Way. Cost is $6.

Farmers Market Halloween Fun: Costume contest, selfie booth and more at the Federal Way Farmers Market, which runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through the end of October at the Commons Mall parking lot.

Fall Foliage Festival: Oct. 28-29. It’s sure to entertain with bold fall colors, fun activities like a costume contest to win garden prizes, and a kid’s scavenger hunt. Guests will dine on yummy food and satiate their cravings for sweet fall drinks, all under the blanket of falling golden-brown leaves. Location: 2525 S. 336th St., Federal Way.
