My name is Rhino, and I need a home | Pet of the Week

Rhino is a 10-year-old male pit bull, about 57 pounds (ID #A531897). Rhino is a sweet older guy who would love a home where he’ll get lots of walks and snuggle time on the couch. He knows how to sit on command, takes treats gently and is good on a leash. He was brought in because his previous family could no longer care for him. Rhino is a silly and loving boy. He can be overly interested in other dogs and a bit pushy at times, so it would be best to have him meet any new companions prior to being adopted, just to make sure their personalities match. He would also do best with a slow introduction. Because of his initial shy nature, he would do best in a calm and quiet home. He does have some dental disease that will need to get checked out by your veterinarian. Rhino also had a tumor removed from his right rear leg that will also need to be monitored. If you’re looking for a sweet boy to become part of your family, Rhino could be the one for you. Rhino is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. His $100 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Rhino on his Petfinder profile at https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/38805893, and on RASKC’s website at www.kingcounty.gov/adoptapet.
