My name is Lil Bear, and I need a home | Pet of the Week

Lil Bear is an 11-year-old male cat, black, domestic short hair (ID #A521203). He is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. He may get nervous in new situations, so he’s looking for a family who understands that he may need a little time to warm up. Once he gets to know you, Lil Bear will be a very devoted friend! Lil Bear is an independent kitty who likes to do his own thing. He has lived with other cats and does well with them. He would do best with a slow introduction to other kitties in his new home. Because of his shy nature, Lil Bear would do best in a calm, quiet home. He is litter-box trained, neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. His $30 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Lil Bear on the shelter’s website at www.kingcounty.gov/adoptapet. Select the “cat” option and type in his name. If you’re looking for a gentle and loving guy to join your family, then Lil Bear could be the one for you! You can also meet Lil Bear and other animals available for adoption, in person, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, 21615 64th Ave. S.; Monday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m. Call 206-296-PETS, or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
