More than $10,000 in prizes are available for the first Korean Song Contest for Non-Koreans. Competition is open to all non-Koreans ages 12 and older residing in Washington.

More than $10,000 in prizes are available for the first Korean Song Contest for Non-Koreans. Competition is open to all non-Koreans ages 12 and older residing in Washington. This event hopes to share the culture of Korean pop music. All participants must sing a Korean song in the Korean language. The contest will be hosted in English and Korean. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 24 at Radio Hankook (1230 AM and 1450 AM), 807 S. 336th St., Federal Way. A preliminary contest will run 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 7.
