Jazz LIVE at Marine View returns with The Janette West Group, which will perform a free concert at 5 p.m. Feb. 12 at Marine View Church, 8469 Eastside Drive NE, Tacoma.
Janette West began singing at a very early age, moved to the Seattle area in the 1970s, worked with R&B organ trios for years, and opened for acts like Jimi Hendrix and Tina Turner. Now she is focused on her own quintet, showcasing her vocal talents in swing, Latin, R&B, standards and ballads.
