Spider’s Web by Centerstage Theatre: Mistress of mystery Agatha Christie delivers a comedy brimming with twists and turns in this thriller that brings both suspense and humor. Lunar New Year: February 10 is the first new moon of the lunar calendar this year and begins the Lunar New Year, which ends on the first full moon of the lunar calendar, 15 days later. It is one of the most important celebrations in communities connected to countries that follow the lunar calendar, such as Vietnam, South Korea, China, Mongolia and more. Each country has traditions and ways of celebrating this holiday and the length of the celebration differs as well. This is the year of the dragon.

Mayor’s State of the City Address: Scheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center, 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Mayor Jim Ferrell will give his annual presentation on the city’s state of affairs.

Hot off the presses: The Federal Way Mirror invites you to join the paper from 1-2:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Poverty Bay Café for informal conversation and coffee. You’ll be able to ask the newspaper staff about their work or talk about issues affecting the region, such as homelessness, addiction and development, all while supporting a local business and the work of nonprofit FUSION to serve families in need. Last of the Dragons by Centerstage: From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25, presented by Centerstage Theatre at 3200 SW Dash Point Road, this live performance is intended for a young audience and tickets are $15 per person.
