Cocoa Martini will perform a free show 5 to 6:40 p.m. Nov. 28 at Marine View Church, 8469 Eastside Dr. NE, Tacoma. Cocoa Martini, honored by Earshot Jazz with its prestigious Golden Ear Award for 2009 Northwest Vocalist of the Year, treats its audiences to elegant, witty shows featuring lively song selections, alluring harmonies and clever, whimsical story-telling. The three vocalists — Kimberly Reason, Nadine Shanti and Kay Bailey — will be backed by top area musicians Bill Anschell on piano, Chuck Kistler on bass and Brian Kirk on drums.
