Back to School days at the Federal Way Farmers Market: Learn about academics, construction updates, job opportunities and more from the Federal Way Public Schools district at the market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. along S. 324th Street in Federal Way. Chat with Federal Way Police and South King Fire and Rescue crews about back to school safety tips. Learn about the Bridging A Gap (BAG) weekend meals program. Receive your COVID-19 vaccination from Public Health — Seattle & King County. Support the Decatur High School football team fundraiser for uniforms and equipment.

Aug. 28

Backpack giveaway: Integrity Life Church and Life Spring Church are partnering with the district to host a backpack giveaway for from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at 37603 28th Ave S. in Federal Way. FWPS staff will be in attendance, ready to answer questions about back to school.

Back to School at the Federal Way Farmers Market: If you missed the first weekend, join in on the second Back to School day at the market. Federal Way Public Schools will have information on academics, job opportunities and more. Federal Way Black Collective will be handing out free resource packs for students, and vaccines will be available by Public Health — Seattle & King County. Other vendors include Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, Phenomenal She nonprofit, local childcare providers, and more. The Federal Way Farmers Market is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. along S. 324th Street in Federal Way.
