Art Walk makes debut at Dash Point Village

Do you love art? Do you want to be able to experience art on display without leaving Federal Way? Then you’ll be excited to hear that the Merchants of Dash Point Village are announcing the first Art Walk featuring more than 15 Washington state artists displaying their artwork at the shopping center.

The Art Walk will take place on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19. Friday’s event will be an elegant evening from 6 to 9 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and beverages being served at many of the stores. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday will be a family affair with a barbecue, sidewalk chalk drawing, coloring contest, doggy art, doggy origami and more, in addition to the artists.

There’s more than fabulous art and working artists, food and activities planned for this first Art Walk. The shopping center is also raffling an exquisite trio of pumpkins from the Glass Eye Studio, valued at $226. Customers 18 and over will also be able to enter a drawing for a $200 shopping spree at the Dash Point Village Shopping Center, at SW Dash Point Road and 312th Street SW.
