Writer misuses service dog photo | Letters

I am highly offended by your writer's use of the picture in the article "Fake service dogs: Pet owners exploit ADA loophole."

I am highly offended by your writer’s use of the picture in the article “Fake service dogs: Pet owners exploit ADA loophole.”

This particular dog, whose picture was used, belonged to my wife, who has very real seizures. I was able to witness myself the different services Miss Bailey provided my wife.

To see her picture used in a way which appears to discredit her work and call her a fraud without using words is disheartening and very unprofessional of your writer.

It also, in my opinion, borders on defamation of character for my wife. Just because her injuries are not visible, those injuries are very much real and still debilitating, even 14 years after the accident.
