This is to offer my sincerest thanks to all of the people who were able to visit the open house for my new district office on Monday, July 1.

This is to offer my sincerest thanks to all of the people who were able to visit the open house for my new district office on Monday, July 1.

More than 150 people attended our first 30th District office community meeting.

The office was opened so that I could be more accessible to the constituents I serve. This office belongs to us all, and anyone should feel free to stop in, get some coffee or water, ask questions, and observe what we do.

My Legislative Assistant, Joe, will be present at the office Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to assist with any concerns you may have.

My staff has expertise in dealing with state agencies, and we encourage you to stop by if you are having problems with DSHS, Labor and Industries, Department of Transportation, Department of Licensing or other state entities.

We also appreciate your views on important issues and policies as we approach the next legislative session in January.

To encourage community involvement, we will also be holding regular coffee sessions every Friday from 11 a.m. to noon, starting Friday, July 19.

Food and drinks will be on us, so please feel free to stop in and visit when you can.

Our district office address is 930 S. 336th St., Suite A, Federal Way, WA 98003. Our phone number is (206) 429-2378.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your state representative.

State Rep. Linda Kochmar, 30th Legislative District
