When we moved to Federal Way over 17 years ago, we were aware this city was a growing city between Seattle and Tacoma.
We did get to know some of those who were making a difference and did get to know some of those who really cared for the city of Federal Way.
One of those was Mark Miloscia when he served as state representative.
With the upcoming elections for state Senator, I was pleased to see Mark’s name as one person who we believe, in this family, will try very hard to make a difference on the city’s growth because he has lived here for a long time, and can see what can be done to improve our city and not try to make it another Bellevue.
Which brings me to Shari Song.
Shari Song waltzed into the city of Federal Way shortly before the deadline for filing for state Senator of this district. She made sure she was a resident, but still had a residence in Bellevue. Ms. Song has had little knowledge of the workings of our city in the short time she has been here and I wonder what was her intent running for this office, without knowing anything about Federal Way?
The sniping going on with Ms. Song’s party against Mark Miloscia is nothing more than “dirty little politics.” We certainly have enough of that on the national level, we don’t need it here in the city of Federal Way.
If you feel this letter is printable, please use my name but not my address because I don’t need Ms. Song’s party calling, wanting to change my mind about an outsider like her. At my age, 75, I have lived long enough to know the difference between honesty and political correctness.
My family and I do not believe Ms. Song has the wonderful city of Federal Way’s best interests at heart, but it’s just a step up for her to run for a larger place in politics if she wins this one. Hope she doesn’t.
